Rob Gronkowski announces he will return to Patriots for 2018 season

"I met with coach today", he wrote, "and informed him I will be back for the 2018 season with the Pats".

Gronkowski made the announcement in a post on Instagram Tuesday.

Gronkowski's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, was also reportedly at the meeting. A couple of weeks turned into months.

Gronkowski has had the football world waiting on bated breath after he wouldn't commit to playing in the 2018 season following Super Bowl LII.
