USA trade publication Variety said: "The most important thing to note about Solo: A Star Wars Story is that, in spite of its widely-publicised behind-the-scenes turmoil, culminating with the replacement of directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller with Ron Howard several months into shooting, the film is not the disaster its production history might suggest".
Well, there are so many possibilities and, you know, it's kind of one of those things where we're sitting around, waiting for those shots. And where did he get his blaster?
Opening May 25 nationwide, director Ron Howard's Solo: A Star Wars Story stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Emilia Clarke as Qi'ra and Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca. There's no arguing that the actors are a likable crew, even if Harrelson, Glover and Bettany are the only three who don't play it safe.

MI police confident they've found gravesite of girls missing for decades
It's the same field where 13-year-old Cyndi Zarzycki's remains were found after her killer led investigators to the spot in 2008. Dwyer said they reopened the cold case last fall but couldn't start the search until the weather and ground conditions improved.
Ron Howard may have jumped into directing Solo midway through filming, but fans were going to be eyeing the blockbuster with a microscope regardless. "Howard and [screenwriters Lawrence and Jon Kasdan] play the series game without ever raising the stakes, defaulting to boring and dutiful when they might have blasted off into creative anarchy".
Alden Ehrenreich ("Blue Jasmine", "Hail, Caesar!") is quite a bit smaller than Harrison Ford and he doesn't bear much of a facial resemblance to the man who made Solo a legend, but Ehrenreich delivers a winning performance and does a fantastic job at foreshadowing certain characteristics and tendencies of Ford-as-Han, without delving into impersonation. Prior to the film scoring that official release date, and before so much as a behind-the-scenes snap or set video was released, some fans anxious whether the movie would live up to its Star Wars saga predecessors.
Solo: A Star Wars Story reshuffles the accepted component myth-parts in a way that some find overfamiliar: there are desert scenes, weirdo cabaret acts. It gets to the point when you're waiting for a stormtrooper to march in and said, "Sorry, sir, but Milton has just stolen an escape pod, and he's heading for Tattooine with Yeats and Oscar Wilde!"
"I'm gonna tell you how it feels to play a woman". Forget about Obi-Wan Kenobi, though - Lucasfilm wants Lando Calrissian to be the focus of the next one. Solo is about the events that shaped him into a smuggling scoundrel. Writes Entertainment Weekly, "Speaking of Glover, it's no spoiler to say that the Atlanta star is easily the best thing in this good-not-great movie". Phoebe Waller-Bridge has an entertaining voice role as Spartacist droid L3-37. Lando is also a beloved character who has been rumored to be getting his own film before and even has his own comic book line with Marvel. "Most importantly, Han has his first encounter with the prototypical Allied resistance against the Empire".
