Game of Thrones stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are due to marry in the north east of Scotland on Saturday.

Co-stars Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, Peter Dinklage, who played Tyrion Lannister and a number of other actors attended the event.

Afterward, the bride and groom and their reported 100 guests headed to a reception held at nearby Wardhill Castle.

Rose Leslie and Kit Harington were showered with flower confetti as they made their way from the church door to the auto, which was decorated with the "just married" paper banner, tin cans and ribbons.

He added: "It's a great day for Aberdeenshire".
