Twitter Reacts to Kylie Jenner Becoming the Youngest Self-Made Billionaire

Thursday, 12 Jul, 2018

Forbes values Kylie Cosmetics- a company that she owns 100% of- at $800 million. Counting those endeavors, she's conservatively worth $900 million, which makes her the youngest person on the fourth annual ranking of America's Richest Self-Made Women.

As the website disputes a claim in the most recent issue Forbes, that predicts Jenner in on track to become the "youngest self-made billionaire ever, male or female".

Kylie Jenner could soon become the youngest self-made billionaire and it all started with a $29 lip kit.

Jenner's company, which she wholly owns, is worth $800m, according to Forbes. "At 21, she's set to be the youngest-ever self-made billionaire", reads the cover.

While fans were left wondering what exactly had changed with her appearance, she confirmed the news on Instagram, replying to one fan with: 'I got rid of all my filler, ' alongside a string of anxious emojis.

KYLIE Jenner's latest magazine cover is turning heads and raising eyebrows - but this time it's not for what you'd expect. (We estimate that 37-year-old Kardashian West, for comparison, is worth $350 million.) But she's not just making history as a woman.

Kylie's lucky enough to grace the cover of Forbes which celebrates some of the wealthiest self-made businesswomen in the world. At 20 years of age, the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters already has plenty of titles to her name. For Kylie Jenner, she was creating a cosmetic empire. And (if you believe a somewhat dubious Forbes article) she's very close to becoming a billionaire.

But the Twitterverse has opinions on Forbes using the word "self-made" to describe someone who had $250,000 laying around-money Jenner had earned from modeling gigs-to jumpstart her business.

Jenner said she hopes to pass her business down to her daughter, Stormi: "If she's into it", she said. In her second tweet, she wrote, "Wait I'm posting this again just because!"

Kylie first grabbed the spotlight as part of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality TV show with her mum Kris Jenner and her siblings.
