The device will be Verizon exclusive in the U.S. and the company also announced the 5G Moto Mod which allows the Moto Z3 to access Verizon's 5G network. So the Moto Z3 owners with the 5G mod will be able to experience gigabit speeds. Google, which had a greater ambition for modular phones and LG, which tried modular phones once, have both given up on the idea.

-Alongside the Moto Z3, Motorola has also launched 5G Moto Mod, this makes Z3 the first ever 5G-enabled smartphone in the market.

The 5G Moto Mod is the first of its kind to feature the Snapdragon X50 modem, giving users access to 5G connectivity when this standard officially rolls out. Motorola has added an 18:9 display on the Moto Z3 which allowed the brand to cram bigger battery inside the device. Motorola opted to stick with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor - last year's processor - in order to keep the price of the device down.

For optics, the smartphone also comes with a dual camera module comprising of a 12MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and secondary monochrome camera with dual LED flash. The Moto Z3 sports a 6.1-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, carrying a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels.

In addition, the Earth is closer to the Sun during the northern hemisphere summer so its shadow is larger than average, he said. The fact that the moon appears so small and takes longer to pass through Earth's shadow is also why the eclipse lasts longer.

United States senators to introduce tougher Russian Federation sanctions bill
America's domestic politics and Donald Trump's mercurial diplomacy are making America's policy towards Russian Federation disjointed.

The smartphone will be running Android 8.1 Oreo right off the bat, and it will be getting updated to Android P down the line. Sadly the Moto Z3 lacks the 3.5mm headphone jack, but a USB Type-C to 3.5mm jack adapter is provided.

The official Motorola US Twitter account responded to an inquiry about the Moto Z3 Force.

From a subscription perspective, the Mod acts like "a data card connected to your phone", according to Moto engineers. 5G Moto Mod is said to offer up to 10 times the speed of the current wireless technology as well as lower latency and higher bandwidth. There are not many differences between the Moto Z3 and Z2 Force. This battery won't be used to increase the longevity of the phone beyond normal 4G usage, but merely keep the 5G radios humming along, as they consume a lot of power. The fingerprint sensor is on the side. The phone will be available in ceramic black colour variant. In the trial, the pre-production 5G Mod achieved download speeds over 3Gbps, though it was very prone to slowdown when the signal blaster was blocked by objects. But it is quite likely that the Moto Z3 will soon launch in India. For $480, that is cheaper than a OnePlus 6 but we guess that since it does not feature any attractive hardware specifications, the price is justified.
